Environmental Policy

• Cancelling the paper copy of the invoices from suppliers and transition to e-invoices (for example, in our work with companies as Globul, "City Express", "Arbikas", "Status 1", etc.).
• Use of both sides of the sheets of paper.
• Introduction of separate collection of paper and plastic waste to facilitate recycling.
• Transition to use of promotional paper bags.
• Transition to electronic advertising instead of the currently used traditional flyers and brochures.
• Limitation of the use of stationery and supplies containing plastic or nylon, both for the offices (e.g. folders, utensils, etc.) and in the contacts with customers (pocket folders, advertising materials, etc.).
• Introduction of rules for reducing the use of electricity. Use of energy saving light bulbs, switching the electric appliances off when leaving the office at the end of the workday, turning the lights off when there is sufficient sunlight and unplugging the chargers once the batteries of the mobile phones and laptops are charged.
• Preparation of annual plan for monthly events focused on providing relevant information and taking green actions (e.g. scheduling a day for exchange of textbooks, school aids and books for re-use between colleagues and friends of the Agency in September, joining initiatives of organizations such as "Green Balkans" Federation of Nature-Conservation NGOs, Coalition "Let Nature Remain in Bulgaria", etc.).
• Purchase of equipment for parking bicycles and placing them in an area near the office authorized by the Municipality to promote the use of alternative modes of transportation.
• Annual conducting of Volunteering Day, on which the employees of the company shall clean up gardens and green areas.
• Creation of special section in the corporate forum for proposals and ideas from users and employees to the management in the field of environment.
• Use of bicycle courier services — a bicycle makes it easier to go through traffic jams, deliveries in a particular area are faster and at the same time this helps for improvement of the air quality by reducing the harmful emissions. Purchase of cards for public transportation for the internal couriers to reduce the use of personal and company cars.
• Use and re-use of recycled toner cartridges.
• Installation of additional memory on all computers in the offices — extending the life of computers helps preventing disposal of a lot of electronic waste.
• Disposal of obsolete and used office equipment, computers and mobile phones to the designated locations.

Taking specific actions may be a good starting point for creation of a full-scale policy for environmental protection and saving energy resources in each company and a small but important contribution to the improvement of the environment in which we live and work.
